I am the Head of Strategy for the leading content marketing platform, NewsCred. Previously I held marketing leadership positions at SAP as VP of Global Marketing and Content Strategy and Head of Digital Marketing for SAP Americas.

I was the co-founder of leading social news site Business 2 Community and also created SAP’s award-winning Business Innovation thought leadership blog site.

I am also a contributor to leading publications such as Forbes, The Economist, and The Guardian and I really enjoy being a frequent speaker at industry events covering topics such as marketing strategy, social business, content marketing, digital marketing, social media and personal branding.

My Background

I have been working in leadership, marketing and sales roles for nearly 20 years serving a diverse group of industries. The one thing that ties my experience together is the use of customer information and market insights to drive results-based marketing strategies and true ROI through higher sales and customer loyalty.

I also believe strongly in the power of a customer-centric culture and highly-engaged employees to deliver on the promise of effective marketing and business results.

I started my career serving some of the world’s greatest brands in consumer goods and retail with the Nielsen Company, the global marketing information leader. At Nielsen, my roles spanned many functions in client service and sales, regional marketing, and global product management.

I followed that up as head of marketing for International Communications Research (ICR), a top research company in the U.S and FullTilt software, a start-up acquired by QAD software.

I believe my experience in sales, field marketing, product development, global marketing along with functional expertise in customer insights, database marketing, search marketing, media buying, social media, content strategy and lead generation provide me with the unique perspectives that today’s market requires.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from St. Joseph’s University (Philadelphia, PA) in 1993.
