The Onalytica B2B Influencer Marketing Report

Below are details from Onalytica’s report for the top 25 brands and individual influencers in the B2B marketing space in the US as well as the UK. In their report, they quote Michael Brenner as saying:

“B2B marketing used to be about cold calling, hanging banners at events, and creating stale brochures. In 2015, many of those leading the B2B marketing conversation are content marketers, demand drivers, and digital technology evangelists. This is not just the future of B2B Marketing, it’s the future of marketing in a digital, customer-driven, and experiential world.”

    1. Thanks Wendy, it was fun pulling together but always a little nerve-wracking that I missed someone. You deserved it and happy that you found some new folks to follow as well!

  5. Hi Michael,

  7. Thanks so much Michael!

I’m don’t know if I’m worthy but I certainly know I’m honored. I am very pleased to be on your list. As the runt of this litter, I can vouch for how brilliant the others are because they’ve been able to teach me. And so have you. Thanks again Michael!

  8. Top list Michael, I agree with Trish…I reckon @brennermichael definitely needs to be on there.

Also @BundlePost is a Social Marketing productivity solution that would benefit the kind of businesses and individuals that this post appeals to.

Love your work. Thanks for taking the time to collate such great resources.

    1. Thanks Matt, I knew I was going to miss a few folks. I am ok with leavng that brenner character off but definitely suggest everyone check out @BundlePost. Thanks for the support!

  9. Hi Michael,

We feel very honored to be included in this awesome list (especially being the only German company on the list).

My special thanks to @jogebauer for strategy advice and help in execution.

    Thanks again!

  10. Michael, I’m pinching myself to see my name on this list with so many of the B2B marketing thought leaders that I’ve been stalking, I mean following. Such an honor to be included – thank you!

  11. Dear Michael,

Your blog is looking awesome! I really like the clean, cool blue, Facebook-like feel.

This was a great post and brilliant way to build community. I, too, now have many more people to go follow… 🙂

    1. Thanks Chris, I really appreciate the feedback. It’s a responsive design so much better experience for the 35% of my visitors who come from mobile / tablets. I’d been meaning to do a post like this for a while but it’s a lot of work. I had some help but always nervous someone will get really offended. The feedback has been almost all positive so really happy to have helped create some value for those of us in the B2B Marketing community.

  12. Thanks for list. At least I found some good people to follow for Good learning tweets. I don’t consider this post to be solely published to increase followers as these people deserved to be followed.

    ~Alastair Brian

  13. Great list, Michael. Please consider @buyerpersona for an expanded list. Adele Revella, buyer persona expert, marketing strategist, frequent speaker at marketing conferences, workshop facilitator and coach

  14. Michael thanks for the excellent list of folks to follow on Twitter. I am always on the look out for new people that I will enjoy reading.

  15. Awesome list. All the big names in marketing arena are featured here. I love few of them and go to their website everyday to see what kind of content they are publishing. Thanks for putting all the top blogs at one place.

  16. Jeff Ogden of Find New Customers (@fearlesscomp) is deeply honored to be named to this list.of the Top 30 B2B Marketing Influencers on Twitter, but there are a couple of updates:

i do not work for The Pedowitz Group any longer and Marketing Made Simple TV is off the air, but it is still on YouTube.

  17. Even two years later, the list of influencers you provided stands the test of time. I highly recommend newer followers of this post to follow these individuals. Any update coming?

  18. A good list however it is not exhaustive. I again would say that HubSpot has a competitive edge over other twitter handles. It is very precise, clear and to the point.
The way HubSpot is engaging its readers, visitors and customers is simply brilliant.
