Michael’s Background

Michael has been working in leadership, marketing and sales roles for nearly 20 years serving a diverse group of industries. The one thing that ties his experience together is the use of customer information and market insights to drive results-based marketing strategies and true ROI through higher sales and customer loyalty.

Michael believes strongly in the power of a customer-centric culture and highly-engaged employees to deliver on the promise of effective marketing and business results.

Michael started his career serving some of the world’s greatest brands in consumer goods and retail with the Nielsen Company, the global marketing information leader. At Nielsen, his roles spanned many functions in client service and sales, regional marketing, and global product management.

Michael followed that up as head of marketing for International Communications Research (ICR), a top research company in the U.S and FullTilt software, a start-up acquired by QAD software.

Michael then took on roles at enterprise software leader SAP, where he was their first Head of Digital Marketing for SAP North America, and their first Global VP of Content Marketing Strategy. Michael built an award-winning content marketing program before joining content marketing technology leader NewsCred.

Michael is now the CEO of Marketing Insider Group helping brands all over the world to develop content marketing strategy to reach, engage and convert new customers to their business.

Michael believes his experience as a “marketing insider” in sales, field marketing, product development, global marketing, digital and content marketing, along with functional expertise in customer insights, database marketing, search marketing, media buying, social media, content strategy and lead generation provides him with the unique perspectives that today’s market requires.

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from St. Joseph’s University (Philadelphia, PA). He lives in West Chester, PA with his wife and four children.
